REGISTER SPONSOR VOLUNTEER RACE ROUTE 2014 RESULTS

"The Road Home"

Please join us on Saturday, September 12, 2015 for the Second Annual Road Home Half Marathon and 5K benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Pulaski County Kentucky. Proceeds from the Road Home Half Marathon will be used to help build our next home.

Pulaski County, named after the famous Revolutionary War hero, Casmir Pulaski, is located near Lake Cumberland, one of the most popular lakes in our region. Over 1 million visitors come to the Lake each year to enjoy houseboating, fishing, and many other water activities.

The 13.1 Mile Route (and the 5K) begins at Somerset Community College and winds through the beautiful cities of Somerset and Ferguson, located in the heart of Pulaski County. From Somerset Community College runners travel on Monticello St. into downtown Somerset up the most challenging hill on the course; Library Hill, then you will run past the beautiful new Library and the town square which was recently renovated. Unfortunately, the next hill, called Dairy Queen Hill or the North Main Hill is a little longer than Library Hill, but not as steep. But don’t worry; once you get to the top of this Hill, the rest of the course is basically downhill.
Near the end of the race you will run through shaded Rocky Hollow Park before returning to the College via Monticello.
